A Practitioner First. A Thinker Always.
Along the way, I have partnered with more than twenty global brands and worked alongside more than twenty thousand professionals across thirty countries in retail, consumer goods, and foodservice.
Over the course of more than two decades, together with my teams, I have built, scaled, and led businesses across market cycles, geographies, and organizational contexts — from entrepreneurial ventures to large enterprises.
In my entrepreneurial ventures, I partnered with global brands including Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Superdry, Boggi Milano, Hershey’s, Reese’s, and Korres, as well as several local brands, through franchise, distribution, and brand representation agreements. These ventures reached significant scale, surpassing €40 million in revenue, operating more than 50 owned retail stores and 60 shop-in-shops, employing over 450 people, and expanding across 15 countries.
I also spent seven years with Avolta (formerly Dufry), the global leader in travel retail, serving in senior executive roles at Hellenic Duty Free Shops S.A. as Deputy CEO and at Dufry AG as Head of Global Talent and Executive Advisor. There, I worked across complex international environments alongside more than 20,000 professionals in over 30 countries.
As a Xennial, a micro-generation bridging Generation X and Millennials, I grew up in an analogue world defined by patience, depth, and slower rhythms, and built my career in a digital era defined by acceleration and noise. I have led teams through sustained pressure and disruption: the global financial crisis, the prolonged Greek economic crisis, and the collapse of global travel retail during the pandemic. I have experienced profitable growth and successful exits — and I have experienced failure. And now, like all of us, I find myself navigating the rise of artificial intelligence — a transformation whose long-term impact is still difficult to fully predict, both in direction and magnitude.
